To me there's basically two most cost effective choices in line infantry: Black bears and Imperial Guard infantry.
I havent written down the names of all the forums members or youtube commentators who contributed to this, so I cant give proper credit, make yourselves known in this thread and I'll add your name to the original post ! What I'm writing here is mostly based on tips I might have stumbled upon on these forums or on youtube, with some of my personal experience thrown in. I'm by no means a pro, my avatar is only level 6 with a 75% win ratio and I didnt participate in the multiplayer beta, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling on a Fall of the Samurai unit upgrade guide with the hopes that the real veterans might chime in, I'll update the first post according to our findings.
